The long-delayed Marvel film has a new trailer and it introduces new characters into the MCU
Over the weekend, Marvel Studios dropped a two-minute trailer for its upcoming film “Black Widow,” a standalone flick featuring Natasha Romanoff (aka the Black Widow), the character that has been played by Scarlett Johansson since 2010.

This long-overdue film, which was supposed to have come out sometime in 2020, has been moved from a May 2021 release date to July 9.
Set after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” the film will serve as a link to Black Widow’s past, introducing new characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). These include Black Widow’s sister Yelena Belova (played by Florence Pugh) and a really dope looking Taskmaster. While Marvel has been mum on who is playing the villain behind the mask, many believe that it is actor O-T. Fagbenle.

Check out the trailer for “Black Widow” below.
“Black Widow” hits select theaters and Disney+ on July 9, 2021.
